Starting Wednesday, June 13 at 6:00 p.m., and running for 8 sessions through August 8 (No meeting on Wednesday, July 4), Laurel will be offering a Spiritual Journaling Class taught by Frances Langum and Bill McMahon.  Fran is a professional editor and has a degree in Theological Studies, and Bill has a degree in writing from Columbia College.

This class is free, and is for everyone of all writing levels.  We will discuss telling your spiritual story on paper, writing as a spiritual growth exercise for yourself, writing your history down for family or others, writing in response to a Bible Verse, or writing a letter to God and/or the Holy Spirit.

There will be time during our one-hour sessions to share what you’ve written, but there is no obligation to do so.  In keeping with the dictates of our Covenant Groups, what is said during class time is kept private and confidential.

Anyone who is interested in just taking some time for yourself to sharpen your writing brain and think more deeply about spirituality and writing is welcome.   Bring a cheap old notebook and your favorite pen to the first class.  If you have any questions call Fran and Bill at 217-670-1302.
