We will leave Laurel on Sunday, July 28 and return Sunday, August 4.  We are looking for an ALL CHURCH TEAM of High School youth and adults this year.  We need your commitment to the trip before we can commit Laurel to a build location. We are His hands, His feet and His eyes of compassion in a world of need. By going on this mission trip, you allow God to use your hands to build hope for the future. Registration forms are available on the round table in the Parlor. The cost is $100.

As always, scholarship money is available as needed upon request.  If you have questions, contact Doug Rothe at 217-741-7667 or e-mail Doug_Rothe@sbglobal.net, or contact JoAnn Overholt at 217-525-1866 or e-mail joverholt@laurelumchurch.org.  Prayerfully consider joining this Summer’s Mission Team.  It’s Faith in Action!

SCHOLARSHIP BOOK FAIR for Laurel’s Scholarship Fund
September 7 & 8
Please save all the books you have enjoyed and are now ready to part with. You may bring them to Laurel starting September 1. The Laurel Scholarship program is designed to benefit the youth of our church as they enter college and work to complete their education.  Each year any student in our Laurel family who is entering college or has at least one more year before graduating is eligible to apply for a scholarship.  Monies from the Book Sale will replenish the Scholarship Fund.
