VBS Mini Camp at Laurel United Methodist Church

(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) 

Laurel invites children to take the Snowball Mountain Challenge and find your strength in God.

All children Pre School through 5th grade welcome
3rd, 4th and 5th graders will serve as group assistants and center aids 
Youth 6th-12th grade will lead camp activities

Child care for children under the age of 3 is provided if a parent or guardian is working as a camp volunteer.

Each day children will participate in a variety of different workshops/activity centers. These will include a Science Station, Craft Station, Recreation Station, Bible Story Station, a Snack Station plus a Mission and Music Station.

Want to help out? There are many ways for
Youth and Adults to serve at VBS

Serve before Mini Camp by:

  • Praying for our children and those working with them.
  • Inviting children to attend Laurel’s VBS and handing out registration material.
  • Providing ingredients for snacks.
  • Helping decorate on Monday June 15

Serve during Mini Camp by leading a group JUNE 16, 17, 18        

  • Recreation leader
  • Snacks/Mission leader
  • Craft Room  
  • Puppet skit readers and Puppeteer
  • Science lab leader 
  • Story tellers 
  • Small group guide
  • Photographer
  • Welcome/name tag table 

Serve after Mini Camp

  • Taking down decorations on June 19
  • Sending follow-up post cards
